God has not forgotten you

It seems like there’s never enough time and we’re always running around. Summer of 2013 will be a Summer for me and Michelle to remember for a while. From the short sale of our place which started it all, and the running around in figuring out where you’re going to live next, to the graduation of two teenagers at the same time, to the going away that never happened for my daughter Megan. (phew) God was there all the time to get us through it all. And although we went through our own struggles during this time, we were never closer to God and to each other than when we were going through those moments. It allowed us to trust God even more and see his hand move in our lives.
Trusting God is a learning experience. We learn to trust him more as we see his Grace and Mercy in different situations and circumstances in our lives. God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us even when it seems that everything is crumbling around us, he will make sure that you have what you need at the very moment you need it most. As Christians, it’s a fact that we will all go through good and bad times. Easy or hard. God puts us in those circumstances to help us lean on him more. To trust him more. To draw closer to him more and to depend on him more. I’m not saying that we must go through some kind of hard situation for us to draw closer to God but it is during those hard times as well where we can feel the comforting and warmth closeness of God that overwhelms us with his peace and lets us know that he has not forgotten about us and everything is going to be alright despite our situation.
